I have a 2004 545i and i'm coming up on 75,000 miles.

Does anyone know what kind of maintenance that needs to be done at 75k.?

I'm going to try to do as much as I can myself and have the dealer take care of the rest.

Thanks!

Would the maintenance be covered under warranty if you have one.

If you're under new car warranty (not extended) or if you have the extended maintenance agreement, then yes!

There is a difference between extended maintenance and extended warranty. Maintenance only covers things like oil change, wipers, brakes, fluids, etc. You could have extended maintenance or extended warranty or both.

im about to expired the warranty and maint schedule also. So do you guys recommend that should i get the ex-warranty or the ex-maint schedule ?

I mean since i bought the car, the only problem i had is the seat(thigh) didnt move and they did replace it! and some other minor issues. So any experts here pls tell me which one is better to get as you guys experienced

Ah I see maybe I have both because they said I am covered on everything they have on the warranties.
