Then you have those idiots who see you passing/approaching on the left lane and immediately move over so they can stop you from speeding.

Just flash them till they move over, it may take a while but it's worth it

On they way home from the Miami BMW meet, I just set my cruise control to 95mph and flashed everyone in the left lane, I only had to hit the brakes/cancel the cruise control twice.
95 mph on the highway all the way home from Miami?? I hope you have a good traffic lawyer on retainer because that's gonna get you a lot of tickets if you are going that speed for considerable periods of time on your highway trips.

Don't get me wrong. I think that on the rural parts of the interstates, there should be no speed limit. Sadly, big brother rules and there are. Going 95 mph for a considerable period of time is asking for a speeding ticket. And a huge one at that.

Of course, with an awesome and powerful car like a 545, it is soooo tempting to go crazy on the speed and use its huge performance envelope.

We just had the same law passed in Louisiana. Hopefully all the minivans and Toyota Craprys going 65 will get out of the left lane of the interstate.

I didn't even car at that point. I just wanted to get home cause I was tired. I passed 2 cops on the other lane and they did nothing....

I live in MI and travel through Ohio to PA often to visit family (and to attend the occasional Steeler, Penguin, Pitt Panther football / BB game), and I can say unequivocally, that MI (at least the Metro Detroit area) has a disproportionate number of left lane hogs who regularly impede traffic.

Indigenous Ohio drivers (on the turnpike) are fairly courteous and will move out of the fast lane long before you need to engage your photon err Xenon high beams for them to move over. Same goes for PA, however, from time to time, I will run up on an obstinate driver going 56 MPH in the left lane on I-79 who refuses to move over because he/she determines that they are the King / Queen of the highway and, therefore, dictate my cruising speed.

By far the most courteous drivers I have seen hail from the province of Ontario and regularly ply Highways 401 and 402. They routinely travel in the right lane and only use the far left lane for its intended purpose.

I could always resort to Craig's icee/slushie/freeze tossing technique to get the recalcitrants to pay attention to the rules of the road.

Wow. If you blew by NY or NJ state police at 95 mph, they would ticket you. I guess different state enforce the speed limit with different levels of zealousness.

Basically my point exactly. Just don't want to see our bro Krozi getting reams of tickets.
