If you mean which is which interior I don't know, but if you mean which is which aircon the std fit has crappy plastic knobs similar to what Ford fitted to their Escort in the 1980's. The advanced has 3 x shiny knurled knobs made. E60 should have digital readout as proven in the E39!

I meant which color is which..

The first 2 pictures are Champagne merino leather + extended leather and the 3rd picture is bi-colour black & beige dakota leather.

Does anyone know how much it costs to specify an Individual interior?
Or does anyone have an Individual interior?

I have Amarone full leather interior. You can check the prices on bmw.de website.

though ther are not of the best quality.
I would have taken a lighter color but they are nightmare in maintenance.

an extra ?700 for enhanced air con with a few different knobs and buttons isnt value in my book. The 3 series does seem to have a better looking set of aircon controls tho...
cheers

steve
The advanced ac is actually a completely different and much more sophisticated system, with humidity/misting sensors and automatic recirculation based on pollution levels, as well as temperature control. The looks are very very secondary.

Whether the "advanced" should be fitted as standard in a ?30k+ car - like it is in the US - is open to debate

-----------------------------

Lovely interiors - though with 2 kids and a dog I would not fancy the chances of the champagne leather...

@ Igor: Is the wood part of the individual package, or is it something you had done separately? It looks very different from the "ordinary" poplar / maple

even more so, when in the UK we are paying more than the guys in the USA.

Comparing UK to USA pricing....

I could get a 530Xi for the cost of my entry level 520D SE - and if i put just another 4,000 UKP to it (15% more) I could get a 550.

We always get screwed for car prices in the UK!

cheers
