Hello

Going to look at a 535d M Sport ('07) today.

Wondered what anyones thoughts were on the BMW Individual Audio system? This car has it.
I had a 3 series coupe with the Logic 7 and thought that was very very good.

I'm assuming that this audio system is a step up from the Logic 7?

L7 = 420W on 13 speakers (7 x 40W for tweeters (4) and midrange (7) + 2 x 70W for the 2 subs), Dolby Pro Logic.

I've rarely seen that option fitted to the E60's (I was looking for 2 years before I bought mine). It seems as if no one really chose it. If you get the car, you'll be one lucky to have the option!

 

Had a couple of weeks to get used to the Individual Sound System.

It's very very good, but not good enough to warrant double the price over Logic 7 from new.

Maybe I need to tweak the equalizer settings......

 

I had the BMW Individual Audio System in my E60 M5. It was a very nice sounding system and was definitely an upgrade from the Logic 7 system I had in my prior E90 330i. My current E60 535i has the base system (I have no idea what it's officially called) and it is one of the worst factory systems I have ever heard.

I ended up spending significantly more than the cost of the factory upgraded systems to get an acceptable sound (Focal Speakers, Audison Bit One Processor, JL Audio Amp, stock subs for now). But I am happy with the final outcome as it has an even cleaner sound than my old Individual Audio setup.
