hello everybody i am from england and have recently purchased 545i e60 really enjoying it but have niggly issues which i am trying to sort out
but coming to a dead end. 2 main issues central locking doesn't work and parking sensors don't work.
central locking issues-
well i had 1 key with the car and this didn't work from the start, i have to manually open it. I was told by bmw i needed a new key so i brought a new one but
this didn't solve the issue, i then researched about the diversity aerial and changed it but this hasn't solved my issue i am clutching at straws now, any help would be
appreciated plus the wiring loom seems fine.
parking sensors-
parking sensors 3 front ones don't tick, so i brought 3 brand new one and replaced didn't solve my problem, so i then checked the sensor with the one ticking in the front and they
work so i ruled out dodgy sensors. now from right to left the second sensor works but the other 3 don't could i rule out wiring loom fault and look at the pdc module it self again
i am clutching at straws any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure about the locking part but the sensors I have dealt with. Search in the forums there is plenty of info on it. Basicly either the sensor or the wires go bad or the sensor could just be dirty. here are some links

hello sunny, sensors are fine 100 percent sure, reason i am thinking twice about the wiring loom is because i thought they were wired in series and in the sequence lets say 1-4 parking sensors 1 being far left and 4 being the right one the second wirng loom works because i tested all sensors to this loom but the other wiring loom they dint work.
