hi, my car got into a accident and the control arm broke off of the crossmember. I bought a new control arm and a new crossmember thinking all i needed to do is replace the old with the new.
Basically i'm stuck because i can't put the crossmember back on because where the crossmember screws into the frame, their is a nut type things where the screw goes through the crossmember and into the nut that is welded onto the frame, that piece got damaged my question is, what is the name of the part??

thats the rail that got damaged and its aluminum, call your insurance company, thats gona be a 10 000 dollar repair.. the whole front end needs to come off.

 

did you fix it? i have the same problem.
