If it jams while turning the wheel, can you hear any sounds? Assuming the car is safely supported, go under and listen at the CV joints and at the diffy case to see if you can narrow down the location. If not, I'd be pulling the CV shaft out for inspection. After it's out, rotate the wheel again to see if it's all smooth. Then turn the diff with the axle stub to see if the jamming can be re-created.

i believe its the diff after the oil sat overnight i drained the tray the next day and the bottom of the tray is full of metal filings nothing large but a definite diff issue, anybody used any lsd upgrades etc or no what models would have the same diff or the internals the same?

also anybody done bearings in there n62?
