I recently got a list of codes for my car. Most of them make sense. However, I don't know what the following codes mean. Any help is appreciated.
(1) S1CAA SELECTION COP RELEVANT VEHICLES DUMMY-SALAPA
(2) S639A COMPLETE PREP. CELLULAR PHONE USA/CDN PREPARATION F MOBILE PHONE CPL. USA/CDN (I am guessing this is if I wanted to use a blue tooth phone???)
(3) S697A AREA-CODE 1 AREA-CODE 1 FOR DVD
(4) S8SPA COP CONTROL CONTROL UNIT COP
TIA

I'll throw in some guesses on a couple of them:
Item number 2 is most likely for the possibility of adding the CPT9000 (non-BT) phone. I think all NA cars are pre-wired for it. BT is also standard (no prewiring needed) but you can't have both the CPT9000 and BT active at the same time. The car comes with BT active but it can be changed if a CPT9000 is installed...
Item number 3 is most likely for the Nav DVD (even though I don't see Nav in your signature.) Code 1 is probably for North America.
No idea about the others...

#2 is only the wiring to be ready to install a compatible cradle for the phone. I have this option and I did not receive any phone with it.
#3 is in fact the zoning for the DVD player itself within the NAV option. It will accept only Zone 1 DVDs - even though we cannot play any video DVD at this point

Maybe the DVD region ocde is controlled by the firmware ?
Even if you don't have the DVD drive with the Navigation,
I think they probably just set the region in the firmeare,
so that if you decided to get the Navigation, they don't have to
set it up again.
