Waiting for trunkopener button from Hobi :)
I RTFM but did not know my 3 series had this. Maybe it's a US thing. In the 2 years I have owned the 330 Cic I never have locked someone in the car (Because of the alarm) so never experienced it in real life too.

530E60NL: I hope you will accept my apology. I did not mean to snap at you like I did. You can find the on-line version of the E60 manual at bmw545i.com (Lomag's site; it's not just for the 545). It sounds like you're going to wait for an '05 model, but I thought you needed a replacement before that. Maybe you got something to hold you over until your new E60 comes? I hope it's a bmw!

I was not offended by your message to me . I also believe people should read their manual thoroughly if the want to know everything about their car.
I've already downloaded the manual from the site and read it hehehe.. I haven't ordered the car yet because I still don't know what the insurance is going to pay for my old car. I hope to order the car on thursday.
Apologies accepted but as far as I am concerned you didn't have to apologise to me!
I am going to marry saturday and will go on my honeymoontrip on sunday to Miami (1 week), 1 week on a cruise in the Caribean, and another week in Miami in another hotel. During the period I don't have a car I can drive my dad's ML500 or SLK mercedes. I also have a MCC Smart Brabus for my future wife so I've got wheels!
