My BMW assist subscription is set to expire next month and I do not plan to renew it. My questions is, if I press my SOS button after Assit has expired, will it still contact someone at BMW or will it just cease to function.

Thanks.

Matt

Emergency features of BMW Assist remain active; vehicle recovery service (if stolen) and travel assistance are disabled.

Cool! I guess when mine expires I can't pretend like it's the passenger eject button!

That's funny they just called last night for a renewal. I asked the same question and he told me that it would be completely disabled. I asked again and more directly, if I was in an accident would they dispatch help if the air bags were deployed and he said NO.

So is s this true?

That is exactly the answer I got - everything will be disabled. No SOS call or similar

:'( Ahhhh what the hell, mine is set to expire in October, I already sent my $249.00 bucks to renew. It always happens, you cut it off and before you know it something happens and you damm wish you had renewed it.

Who would have thunk it.????
