Just got back from that area last week. In Dallas, we have much more of a heat problem, hence I opted for 30% Huper Optik which reduces heat transmission of glass by 61%. We are not into the very high heat yet, but so far it seems effective.

Yes,all the pieces were removed.Window trims pop out and the bumper inserts have some screws...don't know exactly how but they do come out because i've seen them off.As far as the tint it's Quantum(i think Lumar) the darkest the have/don't know what %.
