is it really that big of a difference?
i was thinking of doing it but i m afraid that the engine might spoil(i bought the car private so no extended warranty)
also what type of cars or sportscars can you keep up with?;-)

Oh yes. Night and day.

I have not raced anyone but I have always driven fast cars, Audi S4 350bhp, EVO 360bhp, VR4 306bhp etc etc and the 535d remapped would keep up easy. Ok it might struggle with the EVO as it was mental fast. I would be very surprised if any "normal" car could even look near a remapped 535d.

I had an E39 M5 before this one and yes the M5 was faster but only just

What remap did you use and any difference in how the car drinks fuel after doing it?

cheers

Good point. It was in my sig. Missed it out some how.

Anyway Evolve remaped my car, no difference after the remap. Yes some folks report better MPG but mine is the same. Happy with that though as I have around +80 bhp. Very fast car.

Thanks. I may get around to this remap at a later stage. Need to sort out my car first as it seems to be a bit heavy on the juice. Let BMW try to solve it and depending on the result, it would be nice to add some extra bhp and Nm's.

cheers
