My Ride: 2004 BMW 545I

Went to my local tri-state dealer today to look for a 530 - he was pretty confident that x-drive will be available only on the 530 for starters begining with april or may build. He was also pretty sure that they would be bringing the new 6's from the new e90 to the e60. So well wait and see. Take it for what it's worht but he recommended i wait. I'll keep you up to date if I learn anything else. Has anyone heard similar info from thier dealers?

I haven't heard anything on the xi. There's been some posts on the new 6 w/more hp.

Just Confirmed by another Tri-State area BMW dealer - April will be the first month of production for the 530Xi - with Xdrive.

My Ride: On order: 530xi, R6, Oxford Green, Steptronic, Nav, HUD...
I just ordered a 530xi, US specs with Euro delivery. Was told it would begin production in Mar with delivery in Apr. Was also told it would have the R6 engine. There is also a 525xi, and both will come in a wagon version. Now just have to wait a long 5 months.
