Hi I have a bmw 530 diesel sport 2005 model, I have had a new turbo fitted on this car 2 months ago, have been loosing about a pint of water a week. I have rencetly notice that there is a water leak at the top of the turbo.
After having a look about i left the cap slightly undone by accident yesterday now the car is smoking very bad and there is water entering the exhaust and coming out of the back of the exhaust and also coming out of the expansion tank, can anyone help or have knowledge of what is causing this problem? Thanks

 

I suggest you take the car back to the garage where they changed the turbo and ask them to recheck the car.
