Hi, i recently bought my sisters bmw 525i 2005 model

There is an PTT (push to talk) button on the steering wheel and also navigation but none of these work when i press them, do i need to buy a disc for the navigation and the PTT?

Also is there a way to find out if it has bluetooth or if i can install that in some way?

Why dont you just ask your sister. LOL If you google connect phone to iDrive it can walk you through it. You should be able to go through the iDrive to see if there is a Bluetooth option.

For the Navigation you should have a DVD slot which has a Navi DVD in it. If not then it will not work. You need the DVD in at all times for the older models

 

There are no bluetooth but was wondering if you could somehow add it?
And iv'e read that it's a DVD slot in the trunk but not really sure..
