hi, i have a 2004 525td and for the last few weeks been having problems with it,1st my wipers would not work at all,so i decided to see if the motor or cables to the motor were corroded, after cleaning them up and lubricating them all seemed fine for 2 days then same again no wipers, then in the morning i tried starting it and a fault came up on small screen CRUISE CONTROL FAULT the on big screen DIESEL PUMP FAILURE took key out and tried starting again and all fine apart from the wipers. its done this 3 times now.after having it put on a snap on diagnostic test came back with relay number 1 faulty, does anyone know what relay number 1 is or what it does or where it is??????? or again has anyone had this problem and can shed some light on it for me......please help!!!!!
