Hi guys,

What width of alloy would you need to fit these tyres? Would they fit 8j, 8.5j or 9j?

Thanks in advance

I am currently working on installing 2006 330xi 18" style 162 wheels on my 2006 530xi. Most people say 275/35/18 tire requires at least a 9" rim, although some have done it, its not recommended. Chris

9 1/2 would be perfect 8 1/2 would work it would squeeze the tire ever so slightly though probably wont even notice!

My 124s are 9 inch on that tire size, which is BMW spec.

I agree with this statement from Trinity Yeah it will fit on a 8 1/2 but with all the rim options available why start out in the grey area to begin with.

Thanks guys!

CWS530 - I too have 124's like your sig pic! I recently bought 2x 275/35/18 tyres and wondered if they would fit my wheels or if I'd have to get new wheels! I'm glad you guys replied, I feel a bit better now!
