The F10 will be in the 09 geneva motor show, and probably launch towards the end of the same year. And BMW may put their dual-clutch in the F10 as well

That's optimistic! I've heard either Sep 2009 at Frankfurt or March 2010 at the Geneva Motor Show.

I think whilst we all would like to see the new f10 later, particularly if like me you have just purchased a new LCI, in reality it will come out sooner, leaks to the press etc will begin late 08, with late 09 delivery in SE spec a cert.

I base this on pure commercial sense, the new range of exec cars will continue to roll out, the excellent Jaguar, Merc new E class, Audi,s A6 etc, if BMW leave to late they will miss out on valuable sales.

I know you guys will not like what I am going to say, but the e60, will start looking dated soon, and as driver focus shifts from ingear every day performance and comfort ,our motors will lose their appeal, the real question is. Will the competitors catch up on the inroads BMW have made in lowering Co2? The major factor in making the buisness choice as well as the green aware driver. If more choice is available BMW will have to react quick to prevent a mass excidis to the competition.
