Red face

I recently took some pics of my car in the late afternoon & it looked completely black as you will see in the following link:

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=12532

I wanted in these pics below to try and show the Blue side of Carbon Black which typically shows up in more direct harsh sunlight.

Very nice

I was torn 51-49 between that and mystic blue. I was having cold sweats and nightmares in the weeks leading up to delivery!

Your car looks superb in that colour. The blue tinge of the colour is wonderful.

I would love to have a carbon black e60 but from my previous experience of a black car (ford probe ) I know I don't have the time to keep it pristine. Silver Grey always looks clean even when its dirty. Its a nice compromise. Perhaps mystic blue has the ideal balance between the 2.

The grass is always greener. Every car I've ever had see another in the different colour and wish I had that one.

Yes based on these pics alone it looks a lot like Orient Blue

But after having two Orient Blue BMW's I can definitely say that Carbon Black is very different.
