Blower resistor down - how replace

Hello
I'm having probelms right now with my blower. While 2 weeks ago it was working fine after i hit it.....that right now it won't start at all.
I've searched BMW forums how to replace it but mostly I've found instructions for e39/e46. on that forum I've found PDF file with instructions , however does anyone replaced that on your own ?
In Poland BMW service replacemnt of that device cost terrible high...and I wanted to try first on my own.
Please help with instructions or photos if anyone did that
