My Ride: 2005 530i, Jet Black, Black Leather, Automatic, Cold Weather, Sirius Prep and Radio, Premium Package, Xenon Lights.
I vote Jet Black. Sapphire is somewhat of a dark dark gray, in comparison.

Jet black is definitely more black than sapphire. IMO, jet black looks the best, but in the end, I would pick sapphire just because its easier to maintain and still looks very sharp.

That may be true, but hasn't anyone actually seen a "sapphire"? They are blue, not black.

I had a Black Sapphire e39.
It is a superb colour & definitely recommend it.
I actually wouId have got it again, except that the Carbon Black is a bit more unique here on the e60, because it is only available with the MSports pack.
