Dont use vinyl it will enevtually peel overtime. Spend the extra few bucks and get it painted. As for the antenna paint it black dont keep it white it will look retarted. Heres a pic of my roof.
wow.. couldnt quite picture in my head what it would look like.
. i swear it looks like one of those panorama sunroofs.. other drivers probably get a glimpse of it and think "howd he get that option" .. 
.. i think it looks HOT!!! please whatever your name is.. muzzy or whatever(dont feel like looking) paint it BLACK!! geez i think if you dont it will look retarded.........

The black roof looks hot on a white E60 (and is also).
There are these "new" plastics, best choice.
The second hand buyer may not appreciate it.
Leave the antenna white, if it disturbs, change it.
