I'm really sorry to see this Gene. It's such a feeling of violation (went through it in grad school). It doesn't really look too bad, though. That pillar "skin" can't be that bad $-wise.

Most aftermarket alarms have indicators that will tell you if the alarm has been activated while you were away. When you go to turn off your alarm, it'll have a different chirp and the LED inside the car also flashes differently. I'm wondering if the factory alarm has a similar feature.
