hey guys,

my dad has a carbon black E60 build in 2/05. yesterday he recognized the first scratch. it's on the left edge of the trunk. and it is a big one. it's more than 13 centimeters long. the trunk also has two dents. see photos.

we really don't know how this happened. but we sure know that it was not our blame. we suggest that it happened when the car parked in front of my dad's office. there a truck must have slammed the door against the trunk when it parked for a while beside the street.

the two dents are not the biggest, but show ugly. do you guys know, if there is any possibility to clear the dents without replacing the trunk?

thank you for your help,
sebastian

That's not good! A good bodyshop should be able to repaint it. They need to repaint it...

It sucks! We have some very bad dents and scratches on our E60 right now, because my dad backed into a pillar in his garage at the office... First accident with our E60 - 2 years!

Oh my.... and i thought i have a problem with scratches and dents. Really don't think it can be repaired by touch ups or stuff...i think it might require to repaind that particular zone.
Also...i see the car is carbon black. Correct? Expect at a high painting bill. It cost me 150 euros for a damn trunk spoiler, or lip or whatever you call it.

Makes my go mad

G**g da**ned a**holes.

No option, but to take the car to a paint shop, and a quality one!

I also have two dents on my car that cannot be explained.

One is almost in the middle of the trunk close the BMW sign and the
other one, made with a screwdriver, is behind the right side rear door
opener.

No way these dents could have occured in any other way except for
purposely damaging.

A hate communists!

You have received good advice. I'll only say that I am very sorry. I hate to see that kind of bad luck.

Its sad but every country seems to have inconsiderate people, trouble is we cannot wrap up our cars in cotton wool so these things are a fact of life and why we need insurance.
Mind you maybe bringing back the stocks and a good supply of rotten eggs is a damm good idea.

we don't know. we just can suggest. maybe it happened when the car parked in front on my dad's office near the street. it could have been an idiot that did it purposely. if you look at the scratches, this is the most propable possibility
