They will give you all the information you want regarding a wide variety of tire brands. You should be able to easily decide what you want based on their professional and customer reviews.

I suspect BMW did most of its initial development on the Dunlops (German company) and the performance figures I have seen look a bit better with the Dunlops vs. others. I think the tires are best when new, and degrade gradually until they become a real annoyance.

I dumped my runflats and put Bridgestone RE960A Pole Position tires on my 2006 530xi (18" rims) after 20,000 miles. They are awesome tires. Better than the RFTs in every way. Ride, Handling, Noise. I wish BMW would get out of the RFT business. RFTs are a silly gimmick.
