I have to buy a new set of tire for my 07 X5, (man are these expensive) anyway tire racks price is not bad, but I still have to add in frieght and instillation, they offer a list of local installers that Iv'e never heard of so I'll take the tire to my dealership if I buy them from Tire Rack.

I'm in Fort Lauderdale Florida, any recommendations will be appreciated, oh and I have to put R/F back on because she's leased.

Thanks

I say tire rack for research and best price, then if you talk to the right person at Discout Tire or Tire Discounters they will match. Just tell them you have a coupon code for free shipping

Get some wheels too...then you don't have to worry about Local mount and balance costs!

I am a huge fan of Discount. I think their prices are good plus for only $20 you get road hazard insurance. Since I have low profile tires, this is a must. I have already sent back 1 tire after some damage after a pot hole.

I've bought from Tire Rack and their prices and service are pretty good. They also stand behind their tires. I bought 4 Bridgestone's when I got rid of my run flat's and two failed the road force balancing when my dealer installed them. Tire Rack replaced the two tires right away at no cost.

Sometimes a dealership will match their pricing if they want to move some tires.

+1, In addition, DT provides free tire repair for nails and other debris. FL is a bad example, but if you live in an area where you need a winter setup, they swap twice a year for free as well (if you purchase tires from them). That cost certainly will add up over time, and is a huge savings for me here in Chicago.

I've used Tire Rack and been very pleased with their service. Recently however I've used Discount Tire as they generally match the TR prices and I like the concept of having my tires supplied/installed by the same entity. That way you don't get in the middle of a finger pointing battle if there's a problem. Also as someone else mentioned the free puncture repair, etc. is good.

i'd say Lake shore tire and wheels are pretty good. I've shopped at tire rack as well as Lake shore, i was equally satisfied but Lake shore had more prompt delivery and better prices over the whole package. I dunno about buyin tires alone from Lake shore would benefit you over buyin it from the Tire Rack though. Gud Luck
