why dont you just drive the car? and listen to that lovely engine...
music spoils everything. I was riding in a Porsche 997 Carrera the other day and the owner of the car decided to play mozart.... what an idiot
Yeah (!) imagine .. he owns a porsche and likes mozart ... clearly retarded

For the rest of those idiots who enjoy music - my current thoughts would be (after a couple of hours driving today):

When you want to go for it:

Placebo - Meds

For relaxation:

Sigur Ros - Tak

For 700700:

I love Ramstein when driving my E60. German lyrics go well with German car. Try the album Reise, Reise. If you listened to AC/DC with your first 205 GTI there's a big chance you'll enjoy Ramstein. They are heavy but not *that* heavy. And they go well with *heavy* BMW machinery.

Andreaus Jonnsson - Glorius
Bon Jovi - Dead or Alive
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Cabron
Neil Young - Rocking in the Free World

Anything with plenty of bass. I love heavy rock, however, I find a lot of tracks lack bass. The HiFi option sounds fantastic.

Good luck with the car.

May try Paul Brady - Spirits Colliding album track 2 - "trust in you"
My ?7K hi-fi struggles with the bass on that track!!!
Also get deep grunt from Sniff "n" the tears - Gold off their "a best of" album

Only got 4 weeks to go now

I am a music fan and am about to collect my first ever BMW / E60 for my 40th birthday present to me

When I got my first car (Peugot 205 GTI - remember them!! ) many years ago, I played AC/DC "Back In Black" whilst driving out of the showroom

I have had years of boring Fords and an Audi since then and would like to know what is the best track / CD to listen to (Hi Fi spkrs up grade) when driving out of the showroom on my 40th birthday in my new E60

Should it be AC/DC again, U2, Dire Straits, Steve Forbert, Floyd ? What best captures the,E60 new car feeling?

Suggestions please

Pull up to my bumper baby -- Grace Jones
