So I took my car into the dealership a few weeks ago for service and they discovered I have two bent rims, both on the driver's side. Probably from hitting a gynormous pot hole. I have the safeguard wheel warranty but they are telling me they will only warranty the rims if they are not holding air, which they are. You cannot see the damage, it's on the inside lip so I am told. If they are bent I'm assuming they will cause premature wear in my tires, which I am about to replace with PS2's. I'm really kind of at a loss with what to do as I don't really want to buy new rims.

Bent rim can be fix, don't worry to much! I got my 166 bent twice , it only take three days to fix!

Not 100% sure but unless you are having a vibration issue, I don't think a minor bend in the rim will affect tire wear too dramatically.

I've had several bent rims fixed from the pot-holed streets of Boston. Each was fixed while I waited in a local specialty shop (about 30 minutes each) at a cost of about $75. Sure beats buying new rims.

That is good news. I'll call around and find out. I'm sure there is a place local that will do this. I had a ding in my bumper and a smal chunk taken out of the front lip under the fog light fixed(wife did it <_< ). I went to bumper medic and could not belive the job they did. You'd never know.
