My hourly chimes comes about 20-30 seconds before it changes from xx:59h to xx:00h, rather than sounding exactly on the hour. Similar set up anyone?
Perhaps it is there to remind you to switch on the radio for the news bulletin (before it has started). Small point but any ideas?

Why would you want to be reminded to listen for a news bulletin? It is always about how much of your money the politicians are spending.

I use the * for 3 letter word searchs. Example: LCI*

yeah. first time i heard it i looked all around the car myself. i realized the hour had just changed.

i guess i will hit the OP with a preemptive answer, because it is coming... LCI= Life Cycle Impulse. last time i threw that in a welcome thread, the OP was like "i was gonna ask that". unfortunately you cant search for a 3-letter string. so there it is OP!
You need some new material Craig.

omg. hour chime. we should have a sticky for this. you said it yourself "hour intervals"
Almost as worthless as the push button start (w/o comfort access). Has anyone determined the efficacy of that feature?
