My car beeped at me two different times last night.

I was driving about 80 on an L.A. freeway and went through a kinda bumpy patch.

Same thing on the way home later in the day.

Two short beeps. Seemed to come from the dash. Medium pitch.

Anyone know what that means.

Maybe one of the active features was recording one of the wheels not turning the same rate as the others or something like that.

No error messages displayed.

Would the computer record this?

Could it possibly be the hour memo beeping at you?

Yep, It's the hourly "chime". Forgot about that. First time it's been set on.

mm dont you guys think the hourly chime should come with a little icon either on the screen or in the dashboard, something like a clock ?
i mean, it has fooled and scared the hell out of a lot of us! i dont even want to think of all the people that are still wondering what the chime is, besides, the option on the idrive should be called hourly chime, not whatever its called
