Great pics gregg. I was up there apple picking last sunday and yes that road is still closed. Looks like it might be time for another quick run up there

Speaking of apple picking...Thats exactly what the Charmenian said to me right before he jumped off the top of the cliff down onto me- "I WANT TO GO APPLE PICKING!!!!"... He then let out this ferocious sound, which rocked the Hudson, made children run into their mothers arms and he decended upon me from great heights...I tell you, my life flashed before my eyes...Upon knocking me over, he then disappointingly stated, "I said apple picking, not cherry picking...". He then hobbled off into the woods, somewhere into the mountains never to be seen again...

In all seriousness...for those that actually hung in there for the Bear Mtn run a few weeks ago, I highly recommend getting your cars up there for some incredible scenery and great roads. just beware of slippery sharp turns with leaves on the floor. YOU WILL GO OFF THE ROAD!
Just take it easy and enjoy the views...Great weather for a picnic with your significant other by the 7 Lakes...CHEERS!

I applaud your creative story...I just think that most of us are finding your story a bit too convenient. Pics of the scenery, Calton, you, mention of a "wife"...hmmmm I just don't know...

It's bear season, Joe. You didn't know that? Speaking of which, that bear should have swiped the fat armenian who started this thread, off the cliff.
