fuse sounds unlikely.

each of the individual stalks on the column is connected to a single module within the steering wheel. from what i recall, the connections are pressed in and can be removed pretty easily. perhaps your have a loose connection. does the other button on that stalk work?

Yeah the check button I believe, that one works, where are these connections? Under the airbag module?

Yes, they are under/behind the airbag. Very easy to get to if you have the sport steering wheel with the round airbag. A little more trim to remove if you have the standard steering wheel.

Seems odd to me that one of the buttons works and one doesn't. Try jostling around the stalk near the base.

Jostling the stalk did nothing, i will remove the airbag and have a look,.... Should i run a scan and post faults found? Would using the carly app be okay for that?

So I disconnected the battery and when I started the car later, it started working again... Very strange😌

very strange, indeed. perhaps disconnecting power somehow reset the module and when it reinitialized it reactivated the button.
