hi, had little crash on bmw 5 series 525d e60.after accident battery terminal explode
after that i put back cable engine turn over not fire.do i need to replace the terminal or computer plug in and reset.
plz help me.......

 

pictures may help. Is the battery bad now? did u try jumping the car?

 

If your Battery Safety Terminal exploded then your air bags must have deployed as well. Not sure on a diesel but the fuel pump might be disabled keeping it from starting.
Hopefully clearing the fault codes will get you going again.
