Hi! i'm new here. I'm so glad to find this website and i hope someone can enlighten me here with my 2006 E60 525i N52 engine.

i was driving my car last weekend and then left it in the parking lot for about 2 hours.

Later when i start my car, the CDI shows: (1) "Recharge battery low" plus "Active Steering Malfunction", (2) the clock dissappears and (3) the date is 1 day off to day before even after re-adjustment.
Besides, the 'battery indicator' of the idiot lights stay amber.

i'm atill able to drive my car but felt some power loss and engine experience some valve noise.

i have replaced a new battery yesterday and still experience the same readings. Can anyone shed some lights on this?
