Looks like the voltage regulator is doing its job.

Your 530 lives on, to die another day (ha-ha).

Hi Scott, on second thoughts I would rather it did not die at all, what do you know about 4 wheel alignment particularly the rear wheels, my adjustment seems to be seized, I don't want to snap the bolts. I have also heard that BMW don't supply the bushes on there own, you have to buy the complete arms and the price is eyewatering,.thanks Paneuro.

I have not had to adjust my 5 series rear just yet.

I've seen the rear cam lobes operate for the rear adjustment.

Optimally, it would have been nice when your car was new or the rear was aligned well, to then put hash marks on the rear cam lobe adjustment (so it you ever took it apart you could return it to the measurement where you already knew it worked well).

I have not seen any uneven wear on my rear tires.

When it comes to tires and brakes I'm overly protective.

- I rotate my tires every 5,000 miles
- I refresh the entire brake system each year with Pentosin LV Dot 4
- I change the brake pads every 1.5 years with newer technology that arrives in the market
