Battery Draining
Hi i'm having a high battery leakage currently. After running my car and then turning it off, a min later my battery icon shows up on my dash. My car would start up fine with no issue but wont hold any charge? It would also restart my clock and turn off my radio
Well i scanned my car with the carly adapter and can't see to find any info on these codes:
Digital Satallite
Leakage Failure - 00A530
Error SatAntenna Open Circuit - 00A536
Instrument Cluster
Terminal Shutdown - 00A559
Central Info Display:
CID Failure - 00A46D
Please give me some infos on these codes
Thank you guys for taking your time to read this and helping me

Not sure whether it will help you but have you tried recharging the battery to full using a trickle charger first? I noticed that if my battery is low I have similar problems but as soon as I charge the battery back to full it would be ok. It may not be as simple as this though.

It doesn't charge it enough. I had the same assumption and similar issues until I charged the battery back to full using a trickle charger (I have the old bmw one). Maybe our BMWs use too much battery during driving. I even thought my battery was dead at that time but after I charged it back to full, all the problems went away. It doesn't hurt to try it for one night and see how it goes.
Sorry I'm not really versed in bmw electrical stuff just my personal experience.

That problem with error codes should most likely go away after charging the battery fully.
Has anyone used 2 batteries, meaning keeping one charged at home and switching yearly?

This post addresses the two posts above only.
A new battery should be registered so I wouldn't recommend changing it frequently.
Also using the same one over and over doesn't seem to make much sense to me.
I'd recommend attacking the issue instead of just re-charging the battery all the time.
If there actually is a high drainage you might have other issues which are not directly related to the battery (e.g. the alternator). If you don't fix it, you might have issues with other electronics in the car and also brake your batteries frequently. At some point a solar charger won't be able to keep up with a dying battery anymore.
