I posted a few days ago asking anyone if their car wouldn't start after leaving it for a week at the airport like mine did last week. Well I brought it to the dealer and....hahaha....they informed me that it was a depleted battery, I don't know if they think I am stupid or what, but like I told them, I knew it was a depleted battery last friday when I went to start my car, question I had for them is why was it dead, of course they had no idea told me I must have left something on, but I'm sure I didn't. He then told me that the battery has kept the charge and seems fine, I informed him that I would be leaving tomarrow and coming home Friday night at 12:30 at night and if the car does not start I'll give him a call at home so he can come tell me again that it's a depleted battery.

My wife had a similar problem with her MY03 325xi. Seems that the software in her new car was drawing the battery down. They did some sort of software update and this issue never happened again. The E60 has a ton more software dependent functions, ill bet your car needs a software upgrade.

Veight could be correct. Same thing happened to me. I have a hard wired V1 and the car did not shut down due to the accessory. Patrick BMW in Schaumburg IL figured it out and dropped in special software. The problem went away.
