Default Basic Tool Sets for the basic or Intermediate DIY

Hello guys,

What's in your tool box? What types of tools? Which brands?

I need to know what tools are required for DIY projects such as these:

- Basic oil change
- Cleaning of MAF sensor
- Replacement of Xenon bulb in headlights
- Replacement of broken cup holder
- Removal of door panels to fix a door lock

Specifically, what socket sizes, torx sizes, socket extensions or special-order tools are required?

Thanks!

No matter what, you will definitely need these:

9 Piece 3/8" Drive Star Bit Set
This has the T60 to do the pulley and belt tensioner.

17 Piece 1/4"& 3/8" Drive E-Socket and Star Bit Set
This will take care of one of the bolts on your starter.

Oil filter wrench

I have this one and love it!

Have fun with your journey!

You'll need a security torx bit to remove MAF. Its a torx with a hole in the middle. And its an odd size like a 5-point I think.
