To me the Bamboo does not even look like wood.
that's because it's not wood...it's bamboo...

Personally, I didn?t care for the color of the bamboo in person (it looks different in Fotos) so make sure you look at it in person before deciding.

Actually, Bamboo is a wood.

I have the bamboo and love it- very unique. You should see it in person, though. Mine is much more Brown than the Grey in the picture in the first post in this thread.

it was a joke, but I guess sarcasm doesn't go well over the internet, but thank you for my horticultural/agricultural review...anyway...the color changes depending on how the light is hitting it. Mine jumps between brown, grey, sometimes even a purplish color...that's the fun part of having the bamboo IMO...

Do the Boo. Much more sporty than traditional wood grain in my opinion.

Bamboo looks good in every leather. I have had it in black and gray leather and have seen it in natural brown and beige!!

Awesome trim!

OK, Mr. Helpful, I looked it up:

Bamboo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Bamboo is a group of woody perennial evergreen plants in the true grass family Poaceae....."

I actually chose the Bamboo firstly because of my Horticultural love of the plants. In my last house, I had planted 5 different varieties of it and installed Bamboo Wood floors in my Den. Only certain types, the "Runners", spread like weeds unless their Rhizomes are kept in check by barriers.

Geneatals is right: the color of the Bamboo in the car changes depending upon the light. Occasionally, I pass a 5er with lighter poplar and I get envious, but I am sure I made the best decision.
On the new 7ers, they have that Matt Walnut trim which I LOVE!
