My Ride: 2008 535i
Finally got a chance to get my car dynoed this weekend. I have a print out but have not scanned it. I have an RPI scoop, stock air filter, and JB3 (Yes, I'm overdue for the JB4). It was about 75 degrees out and I had so - called "93" octane in the tank. The graph show pinging throughout the rev band and a hp of 295 torque of 343. I was really surprised with the torque being that much higher than the hp. But the gentleman who did the runs for me said that both those numbers would increase by simply putting in some good 93 octane. Since I had less than a 1/4 tank, I went to Shell and put in another 1/4 tank, when home and put in the 103 booster I have been saving (why I didnt bring it with me I have no idea) and ran it again. Sure enough, it really did make a difference.
So, maybe some of you might remember that I was never really that impressed with the JB3 as I thought it made the car feel a bit more powerful but not the way everyone rants and raves. The off name gas station where I usually go is probably responsible for the crappy performance, hence, I will never be going there again! I am sure that with the little change in octane I have in there now, has caused the power to go up significantly and I wish I could blow another $65 to dyno it again. I'll wait until hopefully I can find A R dps and put in my K&N filter. From that point, I'm done!

First of all, why would you buy gas from a "off name gas station" to put in your twin turbo car? How much per gallon are you saving? 20 cents a gallon? Really? Stop being a cheapskate.
