About 3 hours in the dark (no kidding.. with a flashlight)
But it is all PnP. the only real challenge I had was to refit the radio unit due to space constraints behind the dash (but you can wiggle it a bit and it falls into place)
And the hiding of the cabling for the iPod video took some time because I did not know the car in detail yet (removing center rest and some other stuff.
All with all... very doable and the DIY supplied for this is very clear.
Ar.

_____
Sounds great, but does it have it's own monitor/screen, or does it work off our idrive screen?
Thanks in advance!

Contact Kris at modmynav.com, or visit the website.
Kris was of great help to me when I had some problems to activate the BU camera due to my Manual Transmission. Short turnaround help and good contact.
It works nicely off your iDrive screen ( the small or wide screen).. This is exactly the reason why I did take this one. It also auto activates when you put your car in reverse. No "extra" buttons/switches to operate.

I placed my order with Kris last week. He was very quick to respond to all my questions / concerns. Seems like a very nice, upstanding guy (in fact I could not find a negative comment on any board about him or his product) Can't wait to get it installed!!
