Here's one that has front and back lighted emblems installed. Looks ok I guess, but I think I would want them to be less bright.

+1 on the too bright comments....but for the rear....if it could have a low low dim red glow....that would be killer against my matte black theme...and legal to boot.

that video above is a prime example of doing tooooo much to your E60....all them damn lights....that body kit....bright ass emblems....that wing-ish spoiler that looks like he's about to joing a fast & furious car club.....me no likey.....but thats just my humble opinion.

A nice subtle glow would look great. My friend has a red lit A (acura) emblem on his type s. I love it. We need to get something like this.

Since the OP is in California, I'd check the vehicle code VERY closely regarding the colors of lights you're allowed to have on your car. They have extremely strict laws on this in CA.

To each his or her own, but a lighted emblem just screams "Tacky"! Keep your rides clean. Please I beg you Don't do it.

it would be interesting idea, if it works without any wires attached. Like an idea: LED working on sun power, so charging during the day then turn on at night time. I think its possible.
well only problem if you are parked a car for the night, it's still continue illuminate.
