My Ride: 535d touring eletta 2006: 272 HP (560 Nm), A08 Silver Gray, LCSW black leather (dakota), 522 bi-xenon headlights, 402 panoramic sun roof, 508 PDC, 589 17" styling 122, 609 navi prof & dvd, 205 steptronic (standard), 488 lumbar support, 502 headlight cleaning system
hi everybody, I just got back from service.
since during the last days I was given on lona a E60 535d (mine is a E61 535d) i had noticed
a better power distribution at low rpms. (1000-1500). Then, I called the dealer and asked to
check if everything was ok with mine.
Today, at the pick-up I was told that the engine had been re-programmed in order to
accomplish my request.
This said, I still notice on my car a lack of power when running from 1000 to 1500/1800 rpms
(although the car gets there faster) compared to the E60, but I feel the car "bumping" any time
the steptronic goes from a higher to a lower gear or vice-versa.
Anyone had this before ?
As always, thanks for all the comments and suggestions.

Dear Alberto,
If you are not happy with the service, complain!
Low rpm's (1000-1500 rpm) are the worst for the turbo-diesel.
The twin-turbo should not even be running at those low rpm's.
Do you have a automatic transmission?
The GB guys will help you in a while...
