Back seat creakes and rattles like old wood floor

your dealer can adjust the angle of the backseat so that they do not rest on the parcel shelf as much. the shelf can then be damped with some felt pads to eliminate further points of vibration.
i had same issue and that is what my dealer did to resolve this. i find for any rattle type issues it is vital to go out in the car with the bmw tech. if you just describe the issue they sometimes can waste a lot of time looking at the wrong area of the car and i think they occasionally run out of time and just give the car back with only a partial fix.

My Ride: DMS 535d. Titanium Silver on Black leather. M- Sport Package.
Had the same. Found out that it was the centre armrest. Open it up and put some lubricant type cream (Vaseline) were the back centre armrest locks into position.
it cured my backseat creaking.
