I know this has been brought up before, but has anyone experienced the backseat area creaking - on starts, some turns and when you hit larger bumps? It is really loud and annoying - I don't have the folding seats - my only though is that it could be the plastic parts in the center armrest?

Driving me nuts - I'll end up at the dealer but I hate that because always some small scratch or something

Do you have the folding rear seat package? Mine was creaky until I opened it and slammed it shut because it was not fully engaged.

I don't know whether this will help, but you might try putting a lubricant like WD40 on each side of the rear seat cushion in case the seat cushion is rubbing against one of the rear door panels.

This is how I fixed an annoying rear seat squeak in the first BMW I owned almost 20 years ago.

Hope this suggestion helps.
