Did not buy the Jag. I was on the way down to start the process, and ended up at the BMW dealership. The only thing I had to do was hook up my sirrus subscription again. My garage codes and gate codes were still in the computer, as was the seat positions, presets for radio, and most of the other selectable stuff. Surprisingly, I find I have a slightly different attitude now about the car. With the thought that it gets turned is out of the picture, you tend to think of the car differently.
Mods, no idea after the sprint booster and perhaps a new cat back gas system for it. Damn thing is pretty fast stock, although it could use a serious audio upgrade.

You are my hero, Stu
And even though I've never leased my E60, I do understand what you meant about a different attitude toward the car now that you own it. I think it is a wonderful feeling - one that has put a smile on my face so many times, when I've had to whip out my card and go buying replacement parts. But my philosophy is: when it breaks, replace it with a mod wherever possible. Case in point: my brakes went, so I replaced them with drilled and slotted rotors and semi-racing pads. Same will happen soon to the struts/shocks +springs - I'll be throwing in some coilovers. My only "real" expense is the summer wheels - everything else is just maintenance. But I'm getting too chatty... sorry
Again, congrats on this move - really impressive hope your love affair continues in perfect harmony
