I have my car booked in for a software update on Thursday. The garage agreed to charge a fixed fee of ?100
It took a lot of hunting to find this price, But the garage is well known for Tuning / Remaps. Will have to wait and see if it pans out... nobody likes to do it as it can take a long time! One guy said it would be ?55 an hour, but when plugged laptop in told me it needed 23 updates BEFORE he was able to sort out the mp3 / sat nav update and wanted ?200

Can't believe they are charging you for the loaner too, it's not even a proper size car
