here's a thread on it. if i remember correctly is is $80 plus one hour of labor. You can order the aux adapter from Garry@Newport.

If i were you i'd will just spend the extra money and get either the oem ipod adapter or dension 500.

Dont know why BMW stick the AUX IN in the back of the car. Its impossible for the driver to reach and my mates pull it out so I think its not working only to find its not conected! (UK spec 520D)
