My car is a September 04 build date and me and Simon were trying to instal part 65 12 0 153 502. I dont have CCC or nav and my CD player wont play MP3. When we were doing the instal Simon said it was unusual that we actually used the wire housing the kit came with and there was a plug for the wire housing. We coded everything and AUX shows up on I drive, we even coded MP3 And no sound comes out, do you guys have any suggestions? thanks!

Just to elaborate on this a little more. The physical install part was a bit odd to me. Usually there is a socket that's already plugged into where the AUX is suppose to be, however, that socket and it's adjacent one was empty. In my previous AUX installs, the socket that's below the green fiber cable needs to be pulled out and have the wires plugged into the appropriate pins. Without anything there, I just plugged the AUX socket in, and attempted to proceed. Unfortunately it was no go.

Jonny's car is 9/2004, MASK, and has CD changer.

Simon did you try re-pinning the 3 wires that come on the aux kit and refer to the PDF on which slots the pins should go into? Give that a try and see besides just plugging in the existing location of the pins from the aux kit.

Its not unusual to have nothing there, this is why the AUX kit comes with that plug.

Was the coding done with a VO update (and then Code Car) or the CAPPL trc update?

Yes sir, added the VO to CAS and LMA and also verified it in the MASK.

The coding part took it with no problem, and I have actually done the AUX coding for many people before. So that part should be okay.
