HI,
I read about this Parking Ventillation Feature.. is it for COOL air only OR does it work for Winter weather too (i.e warm up car)? Every day I drive to office @ 8AM and Return @ 5PM sharp, so wondering if something can be programmed in car, so the warms up itself @ these times, so by the time I get in, its nice and warm
I have 2006 525i w/Premium/Cold pkgs

Depends. If on your iDrive screen you get the option for independent heating, then yes, as you have some system to warm up the air (this is definitely available in Scandinavia and other Northern European areas). Otherwise, it's only useful to cool down the car a little in high summer.

You can have ventilation at any tuime but you can only have heat if there is sufficient heat left in the engine. So if you shut your engine off at 8:00AM you will not have any heat at 5:00OPM.
I know this isn't what you were looking form but for quick stops in the winter you can use the REST button when you get out, it keeps the car warm for about 10 minutes. Used it the other day and it works great.

The independent heating feature is not offered in the USA. The REST function, as mentioned above, is only for circulating the residual heat from a car that is already warmed up so it's only useful if you are returning to the car in a short while (and you remember to switch it on before you get out...)
